A new manuscript from Maitreyi Rathod in the lab is out on BioRxiv:
“Desmosomal cell cohesion and epidermal differentiation are modulated by dolichol phosphate mannosyltransferase 1 (DPM1) through SERPINB5-dependent mechanisms” Link to Manuscript
Maitreyi identified a novel regulatory function of the DPM complex for desmosomal adhesion which is relevant for epidermal differentiation.
